Jonathan F. Howard is an associate at Futrovsky, Forster & Scherr, Chartered, and his practice focuses on the defense of those who have been charged with criminal and traffic offenses ranging from reckless driving and driving while intoxicated through serious felonies.
In his former capacity as an Assistant Public Defender covering four counties, Mr. Howard represented thousands of criminal defendants, negotiating favorable pleas for his clients or proceeding to trial. During his tenure with the Office of the Public Defender for the State of Maryland, Mr. Howard tried hundreds of cases, including more than 50 jury trials.
Mr. Howard also has extensive experience as an associate attorney at a large telecommunications company in Washington, D.C. His responsibilities included negotiating and maintaining sales, procurement and meeting space contracts.
Mr. Howard received his undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona and his law degree from the University of San Diego. He is licensed to practice in both Maryland and California.
